Announcing John Gauntner’s
Sake 2020 Event with Kidoizumi
to be held at the JSS Information Center, December 1, 7pm~9pm

On the evening of Thursday, December 1, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, the Sake2020 project will host the first of their Sake Salon series with Chiba Prefecture brewer Kidoizumi at the Japan Sake and Shochu Producers Information Center in Toranomon.

The evening will begin with a short presentation on just what Sake2020 is, followed by an equally short look at the current state of sake's growing popularity in Japan and around the world.

Following that, the young president / toji of Kidoizumi, Hayato Shoji, will talk about their sake and their extremely unique sake-brewing methods. Also present and presenting will be Justin Potts, one of the kurabito (brewery workers) at Kidoizumi.

We will, of course, taste plenty of Kidoizumi sake. Much of their sake is extremely unique in methods and style. All of their sake is wonderful!

The participation fee is ¥5000. See this page for more information, and to make a reservation and purchase a ticket. Note, a light meal will be served with the sake.

Note, participation is limited to 20 people. By all means, secure your seat soon!

Hope to see you there!

John Gauntner

The venue will be JSS Information Center (3min walk from Metro Toranomon Station)
1-6-15 Nishi-Shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo 105-0003
